my closet

This blog started out as a place to put outfits I found and style inspiration, but has evolved into something much more. Now it also showcases stuff I bought. I'm Erika. Nice to meet you.

bought a few things over the weekend: skinny jeans from 7 for all mankind and hi top converse.

the jeans have been treated with a process called lustre, which leaves them with a shinyish effect to it, without being obnoxiously glittery. even with the extra sheen, the jeans feel extremely comfortable and are just plain awesome. i’ve already got quite a few pairs of converse behind me, but i have yet to own a pair of hi tops… until now. i was at the converse factory store and walked past these beauties and immediately stopped in my tracks. to say i was floored was an understatement. i don’t know what it is about these babies that gets me so excited; the ombre effect, the dyed shoelaces, or the overall shoe. but whatever it is, it’s workin. comes in blue and a salmon color. i originally went iwth the salmon color, but they were out of my size and i didn’t mind rockin purple kicks. LINK: I couldn’t find it online, but i bought it at the factory store at $80.00.
